    Welcome Joyastylehair!

I style hair too! (the natural kind -locs, fros, twists etc)
Who knows? Maybe one day I'll venture into the glamorous world of wonderful weaves, but for now... the hair is as natural as the diet :)

    HAVE FUN!

This is an extremely odd conversation for a black vegetarian message board. Do "all natural" sisters actually wear "100% natual imported Indian hair" and if so are they are aware the spiritaul repercussions of placing the hair of other people into their own heads? As well are they aware that most Indian, Eastern European and Chinese women that "sell" their hair do so because they are either (1) impoverished (2) prostitutes that forced to do so by their pimps or (3) mothers that are targeted by hair czars that promise they will help them get enough money to take care of their children?

It seems odd to protect the temple, just to disrespect the Crown of that temple. I encourage people to not investigate the economic, cultural and political situations that force them women to sell their hair, but the spiritual consequences of placing it in YOUR head.

"When you wear the clothing or personal effect of any person on you, you INVITE the energy of their lifestyle, their stress, their worries, their habits and whatever accompanying Karma into your life as well."

Natural means your hair and dyes, oils, conditioners and shampoos made with ALL natural ingredients. Show your Crown chakra some R.E.S.P.E.C.T. and T.L.C., it will always repay you.
        • Agreed.

Plus which I'm a makeup artist and I've yet to advertise myself on this group. I'm sure lots of people could pimp whatever it is that they do, but is this really the place? Let's stay on topic...
          • I'm new too- hello all!

I'm actually mostly vegetarian, I eat fish too, but aspiring to become ovo-lacto soon. looking forward to getting to know everyone!

            peace,
            Tasha

p.s. I'm looking for some "spring inspired" recipies that I can make with children ( i'm a preschool teacher) anyone have ideas? many thanks!
